Profile Intan Soeparna | intan@fh.unair.ac.id
Intan I. Soeparna is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia, where she teaches and supervises undergrad and postgrad research in international law, international trade law, ASEAN law, international dispute settlement, cyber law, EU law, nuclear law, and SDGs and law.
She holds a PhD degree from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Ghent University Belgium (2014), a Master of Humanities from Universitas Gadjah Mada Indonesia (2002), and a Bachelor of Law from Universitas Padjadjaran Indonesia (1999). Her major study is international trade law. She has a Ph.D. thesis in WTO Law (title: The Implications on the WTO Retaliation to Private Economic Actors: To What Extent State Liability is Accomplished?).
Her research and publications include the development of international trade law in the WTO and ASEAN, ICT law, and Trade and Sustainable Development (SDGs and Law). While conducting teaching tasks in Indonesia, she has teaching experiences at BICSS Brussels (2010), Royal University of Law and Economics Phnom Penh, Cambodia (2016), Lucian Blaga University Sibiu, Romania (2017), and Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia (2019). As a member of the International Law Association Belgian Branch, she participated in the ILA Luncheon Meeting with the EU Trade Subcommittee of the ILA and EU DG Trade during 2010–2012. She was also an advisor for the Indonesia Entrepreneur Association (APINDO) for the International Trade Forum in 2016.
Her current position is Director of the Research Centre for Management and Regulation of Nuclear Technology. Her task is to conduct research and implement nuclear law in Indonesia. Another position is that of Head of the Centre for Research Development, Community Service and International Publication. Her main duties in this centre are managing and coordinating research, community service and international publication, including organising an international conference at the Faculty of Law at UNAIR. Besides her position in Indonesia, she is also a research fellow at the Centre of Private Law and Economics, Faculty of Law and Criminology, Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She is an academic coordinator and chair of the EU Jean Monnet Module on EU Trade Policy and Sustainable Development at UNAIR (2023–2026). Additionally, she is also the partner promotor of the VLIR-OUS Short Initiatives Project on "Empowering Women Farmers to Actualize Rights to Seed for a Sustainable and Resilient Food System in East Java, Indonesia," an academic partnership project with the Faculty of Law and Criminology at Vrije Universiteit Brussels (2023–2025).

Indria Wahyuni, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Airlangga University in 2004. Then, he completed her Master degree in Law at The University of New South Wales, Australia, in 2011 and obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Currently, she is actively teaching as a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga. Her academic career began in 2006 when she became a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga.
Her areas of expertise are Regional Government, Civil Service Law, Pancasila Philosophy, Environmental Law, Administrative Law, State Finance Law, Procurement Law of Goods and Services, Public Service Law, Mining Law, Natural Resources Law, New and Renewable Energy Law, and Regional Autonomy System. In addition to actively teaching, she has also published various scientific journal publications, both national and international journals.

Oemar Moechthar is a Department of Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga member. He completed his bachelor's and master's at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga. He is studying for his doctoral also at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga. Apart from teaching, researching, and doing law-related projects, he has actively published books on Agrarian Law, Inheritance Law, and Notary Law. Since 2020, he has been in charge as the Secretary of the Notary Program of the Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga. In the same year, he was promoted as coordinator of Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs at the Airlangga University Planning and Development Board, until today.
